An informal space where parents as well as other members of the community can meet together. It’s a no-pressure chance to connect, to relax and enjoy a friendly community environment (we even provide magazines to leaf through if you don’t fancy talking with anyone!)
There is no charge for any of the drinks, biscuits and other edibles, but we do accept donations to help cover costs.
As a community café, we rely on volunteer members of the community to staff it. If you’d like to get involved or, if you have any questions or comments about it, please e-mail Paul.

We've teamed up with some professional business coaches/mentors in order to be able to put on free Training Workshop on CONNECTING WITH OTHERS (not just communicating with them) on Saturday 25th Jan from 10-11:30 at West Monkton Primary School. Aimed at business owners and those in leadership positions, but open and useful to anyone. Some of the topics that they will cover include:
- How would things change if you were better able to connect with your customers and colleagues?
- How would your personal relationships be different if you were better able to connect with others?
- If you are in a relationship or have a significant other or children, how would those relationships differ if you connected better
PLACES ARE LIMITED, SO YOU DO NEED TO BOOK THROUGH PAUL
