The death of a loved one can be a difficult time. As part of the Church of England, here at the South Quantock Benefice we are committed to assisting families by taking funerals that are professional, accessible and flexible to suit the needs of the family. This can be in one of our beautiful churches or at the crematorium or other location. It is still possible to have a burial or the interment of cremated remains in our churchyards.
Each year in November we invite the bereaved families to a memorial service where the names of those who have died are read out. We also have an experienced pastoral team that can offer on-going support if needed.
