As a Church, we are called by Jesus to love our neighbours. As part of this, we have a team of volunteers who provide support and encouragement to those in need within our communities through phone calls and visiting, showing kindness, offering help and providing company.
Whilst very happy to connect with and support those known to us, we know that sometimes it can be easier to talk to someone you don’t know, which is why the team aims to be a listening ear and a friendly face for anyone living in our communities. They can’t offer professional counselling, but they can listen and encourage and, where appropriate, signpost you towards people who may be able to help further if you’d like them to. In the first instance, please contact Michele in the Benefice Office (01823 451257) if you would like to be in contact with the team.
We are also happy to offer prayer to both members of the congregation and non-churchgoers alike. If you would like someone to pray with you or for you, then please contact Michele in the office who can arrange that for you.
